Zillat-e-tanhai se ghabra k aayi hoon,
Main abhi abhi sheher-e-wafa se aayi hoon,
Kuch dair hawa ko batoon me lagaye rakhna,
Main ghar mein ek charagh jala k aayi hoon,
Uss ne pocha hai ehd-e-wafa nibhao gay?
So haathon mein quran utha k aayi hoon,
Wo chahe to ab mujh se tark-e-talluq kar le,
Wo meri zindagi hai usay bata k aayi hoon,
Wo ab bhi mujhe anna parast samajhta hai,
Main jisay ro ro ke mana k aayi hoon,
